Secretariat for Brothers
In preparation
for the 34th General Congregation (1995) representatives from all the
Jesuit Assistancies met in Spain to discuss the Vocation and Mission
of the Jesuit Brother. In preparation for this consultation representatives
from the Brothers of each of the provinces/regions of the South Asian
Assistancy met to discuss the topic in the context of South Asia. A
panel of brothers, selected by these representatives, met with all the
South Asian Delegates to the General Congregation. As a follow-up the
JCSA decided to set up a Secretariat for Brothers in 1995.
